I received a phone call from the owner of Trophysticks, Jake Bunio, about some great success he had on his latest trip up to Central Oregon.  He had an absolutely fantastic outing!  The moment of the trip would be that Jake caught and released 2 browns OVER 10 lbs within 20 minutes of each other!!!!  An 11 lb hen and a 12.5 lb Hookjaw!!!!!  How epic is that?!?!??!  He was also able to hook-up for a day with one of the best trophy brown trout fisherman on the west coast (arguably in the nation) in Chuck Jones!

 

I asked Jake if he'd be willing to send me some photos of his trip for the website.   He was more than willing to.   Jake wanted me to note that ALL of the fish that is pictured on here were caught on the 6.5 inch, Silver Platter Trophystick.  This includes the (2) 8 lbers that Chuck Jones caught as well!  They fished mostly Trophysticks the entire time but 6.5 inch Silver Platter was the hot pattern and size. 

 

Sincerest Congratulations to Jake Bunio and his friend Mike (which should be noted he was 2 oz from breaking the heralded 10 lb mark).  Incredible!
