Just thought I would drop you a line and let you know how much I enjoy reading the fishing reports on your website.
I have lived in Central Oregon for 16 years and raised three fine boys here who love to fish. When my sons were young
we mostly concentrated on fishing for kokanee as all of us could jig at the same time. Tomorrow is the high lakes opener
and my wife and I are heading up on Sunday. We are trying Wickiup and hope to land a big one.
My
oldest son Jared turned me onto LBC this year and we had a great time. The first day on the water in his first ever
boat he landed 4 keeper bulls, the largest went 27". We kept going back and a week later I landed a 27 1/2 incher that
weighed 11 pounds. Now, I am seriously hooked on LBC.
I
will continue to monitor the website and see what you guys are up to. If I see you on the water I will stop by and say
hello.

day stats at LBC, here is how we faired:

- Mid-April
Day
1) Sunny, calm, about 60 degrees, lots of kokanee on the surface, fished top water to 20', Rapalas x-raps in blue/white
for all fish. Caught 4 keeper Bulls 24, 25, 26, 27 inches, sorry no weight on any of these fish. All of these
fish caught trolling.

Day 2) Overcast, calm, 50 degrees, very little surface
action from kokanee, trolled deeper with downriggers, about 57 feet. Trolling = One, 11 pound bull. (We tried
different depth without success) Caught about 6-8 nice dink bulls and some smaller browns (18") casting into shore from out boat with x-Rap and yo-zuri trout imitators.
Some of these bulls went 23 inches.
