Big fish of the Trip for Jeremy Evers

An 18 lber from Odell Lake. Started at Odell and then hit LBC for a few day!

Just wanted to update you on my last fishing trip. Spent 3 days at Odell the the 4th - 6th and did decent on the macks catching 18,15 and 14lber's. I was still riding a high from placing 2nd at the Cultus Mack tournament and really thought this would be the trip to help me break the 20 lb mark, but it wasn't in the books. I did manage a double while flying solo! That was a first for me. The bottom rigger had the 18lber  at 120' and the second rod hooked up on a scrappy 10lber after i popped the line free from the clip on the second rigger.  It was set at 80'and floating up when the fish struck.

Anyway the second half of the trip at Billy was my first try for Bulls.  Thursday at noon i hit the water in front of Cove Palisades and almost instantly hooked up with a lil 20 incher.  5 miniutes later i hooked up with a nice fish but he came unbuttoned right at the net.  I would guess him in the 6-7lb range.  I was  out away from the main state boat ramp in over 300' of water.The rest of the bulls came from around the deschutes confluence in 180' of water.   Every pass i made over the next two days resulted in either a take down or a hookup. The only keeper size i was able to boat came from that spot on saturday morning at 7 a.m. sharp.. I didn't weight him but he taped a lil over 25.

I didn't weight him but he taped a lil over 25. All the bulls were released. My hopes were to come home with a 10lber worth mounting. I guess now i have a reason to go back. I hope the info will help you and your readers a little, as I know the info i've gotten from your web site has helped me a great deal.  Hell I don't know.  Maybe i just got lucky?
